The Sunday Feast – Back in September!

The Sunday Feast – Back in September!

Here at Cove, we look forward to Sunday like no other day. We like to indulge in a Cove cocktail or two at the weekend, but by Sunday we’re ready for a cosy, replenishing feast.

Sea Air

There’s nothing like having a blustery morning beach walk to blow away the cobwebs. In Tenby, there are plenty of nearby beaches to do just that. Castle Beach feels small and quaint, where North Beach is more grand, with the famous colourful houses in view. South Beach feels a little more wild, with the cliffs of Giltar Point wilder still. For optimum Sunday feast appreciation, we recommend getting a bit of salty sea air. Once you’ve made your way back to town, cheeks suitably rosy, let us give you a warm welcome in The Cove. Sink into our sofas, hide in our cosy corners or huddle up around the fire.

Something to Drink

We serve delicious hot drinks if you need to thaw out from the winter chill, or maybe a warming glass of red wine. If you’d like something a little stronger, our gin selection is ever-growing and great for the gin connoisseur. If you’re feeling a little worse for wear you might brave the spicy Bloody Mary, or clear your head with a wide range of icy soft drinks.

The Feast

The main event, the Sunday Feast, is a sight to behold. To begin with, a platter straining with mounds of chicken, pork or beef, or a combination of the three. The roasties are crisp with goose fat, and the creamy leeks are plentiful. Parsnips and carrots glisten with honey, while your bright green greens make you feel like you’re getting a nutritious Sunday feed. Not to mention the cranberry and sausage stuffing steaming enticingly. Your mouth will be watering as you fill up your Yorkshire with a good slug of the rich, bone marrow gravy.

Join Us

We are family-friendly at The Cove! We love the idea of the whole family coming along, and we do mean the dog as well. Go on, let us cook, we’ll take the stress out of the day and you won’t even need to wash up. After an indulgent afternoon you can go home, put your feed up, and maybe put on a Sunday film.
